In a competency-based education, what do you think is the most efficient way to assess grammar, writing, speaking and listening, in large groups as the ones we have to teach to?

greetings. as we may all have large groups, at times, assessing may become a headache. A good alternative is to do it between peers. Students may evaluate each other through given rubrics. This may apply to not-very-hardcore activities like essays or long spoken presentations, but with short writing or presentations, students may gladly socre their classmates.

    Hi!!!

In my case, I plan some activities weekly to assess the four skills during the partial. I design check lists or rubrics (depends on the product and learning outcome). I organize teams, pairs to do it. It´s a hard work to revise the evaluation instruments but it works for me and I save class time.
